We specialise in some of the very finest cheeses, (including many local favourites) with some continental varieties to complete our selection. Our cheeses are kept in excellent condition, and we are happy to advise you on what to choose and always encourage you to have a taste.

Here at Cook & Co, we have three superb additions to our cheese selection: -
Snowdonia Blue, a naturally ripened blue from the makers of the award winning Black Bomber. St Giles, a rich buttery texture with a mild flavour and an edible rind made from carrot, from the High Weald Dairy. Blacksticks Blue made by Butlers using milk from pedigree cows. It has a distinctive orange colour and a distinctive smooth taste with a tangy finish.

Baron Bigod

An artisan raw milk cheese made by Fen Farm Dairy.
It has a smooth silky texture and a golden curd, with long lasting warm earth, farmyard and
mushroom flavours.
The cheese is made by hand in small batches very early in the morning so that we can use the raw milk still
warm, straight from the cow at the perfect temperature for cheese making. The mould cultures
are added to the warm morning's milk and it is gently gravity fed into small vats, just a few
metres from the milking parlour, where the cheese is made. The fresh curds are carefully
hand-ladled into large moulds, using traditional pelle-a-brie ladles and the young cheeses are
hand salted and then aged for up to 8 weeks.
